Spaghetti and meatballs is my husband’s favorite dish. Why have I never made it before? Because it has always been reserved for a night out. However, with all the craziness going on right now, going out is not possible. So I finally bit the bullet and gave making this dish a try. Oh my goodness. Sooooo easy. You can make Spaghetti and meatballs in 4 steps! Just 4! Why have I never made this before?? I guarantee I will be making it again. Especially since it earned me some mega brownie (Or should I say Meatball) points!

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. In a medium sized bowl combine beef, both cheeses, the egg, onion powder, minced garlic clove, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix until well blended. Here is mine all mixed up and ready to go. PS- this spatula…. you will see it in so many of my photos. Its the best thing ever. With dough or other items I would have to mix by hand, this little guy comes in sooo very handy! I will link it at the bottom for you to check out.
Form meatballs approximately 1.5″ round- It should make about 12 meatballs. ABOUT 12. Mine actually made 13 this time. If you want to go wild and make the jumbo sized meatballs, make sure to adjust your cooking time! Place them inside a baking dish and cook in oven for 15 minutes.
** Note- I have used extra lean ground beef in this recipe. You can see that after cooking for my first 15 minutes I still have some fat at the bottom. If you are using a fattier ground beef, you may want to remove some of that from the pan before adding the Spaghetti sauce, totally up to you.
After 15 minutes is up, pour over Spaghetti sauce and sprinkle top with extra mozzarella cheese. Cook it for 15 more minutes or until sauce is hot.
Serve immediately over noodles of your choice. PS- my husband says these meatballs are great for Meatball sandwiches the next day!

An easy and fast weeknight meal sure to please people of all ages.
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese +more for sprinkling on top
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 clove garlic- minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Dash of salt
- 1 jar Spaghetti sauce 20-24 oz)
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
2. In a medium sized bowl combine beef, both cheeses, egg, onion powder, minced garlic clove, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix until well blended.
3. Form balls approximately 1.5" round- It should make about 12 meatballs
4. Place balls inside baking dish and cook in oven for 15 minutes.
5. After 15 minutes is up, pour over Spaghetti sauce and sprinkle top with extra mozzarella cheese.
6. Cook for 15 more minutes or until sauce is hot.
7. Serve immediately over noodles of choice.
